Updated: Aug 14

Transitional style is all about taking favorite parts and pieces of other styles and combining them into something that fits your space. Containing the chaos, creating systems and balancing functionality with beauty. Think welcoming, plush seating, organic curves with plenty of storage and playful details throughout.

Living Room

Get ready to lounge in style! A mixed color palette accented with plenty of wood makes for an open concept living space that encourages the kids to curl up on the sofa while keeping all their inevitable clutter contained in plenty of hidden storage. This vibrant design rendering captures the perfect blend of fun colors and plush seating, creating a cozy haven that welcomes all.

Entryway

Designing a space doesn't have to mean changing everything! A quick swap of the cove accent tile, adding a cabinet for shoe storage and a few playful accessories and this entryway goes from "it has potential" to "welcome to your dream home".

Master Bedroom

Deep greens and rich golds create a moodily, organic palette with warm wood accents. Whimsical light fixtures and a window seat add a playful element making this both a relaxing oasis for adults but also welcoming for kids on laid back weekend mornings.

Laundry Room

We’re not sure we’ll ever WANT to do laundry, but a space this beautiful certainly makes it less of a chore. Between plenty of jewel-toned cabinets to hide away all the I-don't-want-to-see-this-but-it's-necessary stuff and the wood work surface, laundry just became a much more fashionable (and fast) chore.

Dinosaur Kid's Room

Every dinosaur-obsessed little boy's dream, this room lets him pull out toys and imagination run wild without feeling like the room is a complete disaster. Plenty of color and fun accessories, the more you look, the more fun it gets.

Ocean Inspired Toddler's Room

Filled with whales, rays, turtles and other ocean life, this bedroom is as close as you can get to being underwater and still getting to snuggle in your own bed. There's plenty of storage for toys and books to help contain the chaos, an age-appropriate reading area (we're obsessed with the ray light fixture) and oversized stuffies for those times you just need to a soft spot.
