We love a good concept home but we swoon over actual houses - this one is going to be a good one! One of our designers is headed to Belton, TX (outside of Ft Cavasos, formerly Ft Hood, about an hour or so North of Austin and two hours South of Dallas) and we're excited to share her designs for their new home. Lets see how things come together!

Work hard, play hard...relax hard. For us, it's all about balance, adapting to fluid situations and creating spaces that are both timeless and tailored to each person.
Deep colors used in strategic areas and rich textiles create focal points in each room, grounding the spaces while carrying a thread of familiarity from room to room. Balancing timeless with custom, these spaces exude personality.
Kitchen

From bland and boring to playfully sophisticated this kitchen is getting a serious makeover! The new backsplash sets the tone for this chef's oasis setting the foundation for a new vent hood, upgraded appliances and plenty of functional accessories. Lets try all the recipes and make all the memories.
Living Room

It's amazing what a bit of color, a low wall of built-in shelves with drawers and a rug can do to transform a space. We love the playfulness of this living room, filled with personality, favorite photos and beautiful art.. Ample horizontal surfaces create the opportunity to showcase cherished items - the perfect conversation starter whenever you have guests over.
Laundry room

We get it, no one wants to do laundry. It's a necessary evil because the alternative of buying new underwear every time you run out isn't exactly sustainable. Will the process of doing laundry ever be fun? Our guess is no but a beautiful space can certainly make it a less painful experience. We took this sad, depressing laundry room (with completely ineffective storage) to a gorgeous room that tucks away all the things we don't want to show the world while having a beautiful facade from the moment you walk in.
Master Bedroom

It's amazing how trim can completely transform a room. We took this large headboard wall and visually separated it into three zones to create a captivating accent to anchor the rest of the design. Mixing and matching different textures and rich colors ensures the space feels vibrant and relaxing at the same time.
Master Bedroom Closet

An incredible collection of clothing deserves an incredible closet. This walk-in had plenty of potential that was just waiting to be maximized...sometimes the best spaces just need to be polished. Glamorous details and room for ALL the shoes, dresses and purses...this closet is our fashion girl client's dream.
Backyard

From a blank canvas to a gorgeous, welcoming space, the floating deck creates a focal point the yard revolves around. The daybed provides shade and a comfy place to lounge while the hammock is a hit with younger guests (and those young at heart). Layered landscaping using native, drought resistant plants provides color, texture and most importantly organic beauty.
Primary Bathroom

Bold mosaic tile sets the tone for this primary bathroom, creating a relaxing oasis. A variety of blue hues creates a layered appearance with brushed gold hardware as the glinting accent. Between the glass shower and freestanding tub, we're keeping this bathroom all to ourselves.
